Fees
A scheduled appointment means that a 50-minute session is reserved for you. I charge $270 per session for weekly attending patients and $300 for fortnightly attending patients. Typically appointments are scheduled weekly but this can vary based on your individual need. Payments can be made by either cash or bank transfer. All of this can be discussed in session.
Rebates
Patients can visit a General Practitioner (GP) to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan. If you are successful you will be eligible to receive a subsidised amount back through Medicare for 10 sessions per year. Please bring this Care Plan — made out in my name — with you to your first appointment.
However, if you are relying on a Care Plan to fund your therapy, it might be best to contact a therapist who works short-term with patients. The care plan only provides financial assistance for ten sessions per year. Long-term work requires many more sessions than this.
